my Archon and Paragon arrived a day early.

I requested 2" Pin 2.5 Top Weight.

Archon 2.5" Pin 2.5 Top Weight
Paragon 2.5" Pin 2.6 Top Weight

They wrote my name on each box reserving those specs for what was most likely a massive shipment.

Top notch, and thanks for reserving the specs for me, that was huge.
They even included a 40% off elite card ill be giving to one of my league bowlers.

It looks like there won't be any middle ground on this deal. Those that got Paragons and Archons are pleased with the price and service. Those that placed orders and were later told that they over-sold are not happy campers.

I received my 15# Paragon with requested specs yesterday. A 13# Paragon is also on the way. A few friends of mine ended up getting the "Dear Bowler" e-mails and are understandably not happy with the situation.

Glad to hear all went well for you. Unfortunately your positive experience will not change what Bowlersparadise is all about: Poor customer service by a bunch of lying idiots that can't count.

Have to wonder about mine now.  FedEx tracking number shows a scheduled delivery of 10/20, but nothing has been updated since the 16th.

Wonder if it will show up today or tomorrow?

My tracking was the same way. Due on the 19th, no updates since the 16th and they both arrived today as scheduled.

My two balls showed up a day early also I live in Indiana and they made it from California on Wednesday and I ordered them Friday. Pretty quick shipping really also gave me the specs I had gave them it was a great deal all around for me. I feel bad for everyone else but they have to understand what happened they didnt realize they were gonna get bombarded the way they did People are people and nobody is perfect I am sure if they thought that was gonna happen they would have done things differently

So...ya'll got your merchandise and a discount card? These people had to know what would happen if these discounted balls hit the internet. They over sold and then told some of us to go screw! I am really glad ya'll got your stuff.....but I didn't get a ball or even get offered any kind of discount for my troubles.

the card is good only at elitebowling.com. that what the card says..

I am gonna get a skull ball and use the 40% off card..

After 3 phone calls to them asking where my refund is and them telling me it will be done that day, I still DO NOT have my refund..

How about you Tracy, did you ever get your refund?

IMO, bowlers paradise customer service is very poor..

My experience was very good... got the Paragon and Star a day early, also got the 40% discount card to use at elite.com. Got the pin distance I requested on the Paragon so, overall, I'm pretty happy with them. Sorry to hear that so many had a bad experience.

What are the consequences of being given a 4.2 pin?  How much of a hassle will that be for a desirable drilling?  Didn't know you could request specs for my Archon.

Both showed up on the 20th.  I place 2 different orders, about 4-5 hours apart, but both balls were shipped together!

No card.

I got one ot the two balls, got a discount card, but am still awaiting the refund from the oversold ball, right my opinon is very mixed, the paragon i got is a 13 which i wanted for my daughter, looks really really nice, great specs, but I am disappointed in no refund yet, and the fact of overselling.  I will be calling tomorrow a bout the refund

Only problem with the 40% card is the prices are jacked up.

At least they are on accessories.
