Primetimeproshop
« on: March 24, 2006, 10:28:09 PM »
Any one on here ever deal with these guys? I've bid on a couple of things on Ebay and everytime get out bid by a user by the name of antwenwen so I checked their feed back and guess what, that user name bought 23 balls from them on March 23 but in his feed back he hasn't really bought anything in almost a year. Just seems FISHY to me. Would like your thoughts.

                  Thanks Jim

quote:
I bought a used Columbia Ricochet from him.
The product description said the ball had 3 1/4 ounces of top weight and it had almost 3 ounces of bottom weight.
The ball was also in bad shape too so he lied in his product description.  When I contacted him to get a refund back he said he never weighed the ball out.
He is shill bidding using antwenwen on all his items for sale so stay away.

Okay, the ball being in bad shape is something to take into consideration.

BUT

Top weight is an undrilled feature that most sellers still list for buyers of used equipment.  When a seller refers to top weight on a used ball and doesn't mention finger, thumb, positive, or bottom weight there is a good chance he's just refering to the OOB feature of the ball.

You know describing the ball poorly is one thing but to constantly make false bids is just STUPID, but then when your dealing with a piece of sh$t SCAM artist what can you really expect. With all the great people on this site and Ebay it makes everyone leery of even the best deals unless you have dealt with the person before. I was reading on here somewhere that if you don't have a profile most people won't deal with you, maybe we should have a contact # or something like that, I don't know. I guess in reality if someone is going to SCAM people they will just figure out a way around about anything. OK I've rambled on long enough.

Never dealt with the guy but with that obvious scam going with that other username and him bidding on his own stuff, I would NEVER buy from that joker. There are way to many good sellers on ebay to take a chance buying from this loser..

Just my opinion..

I just check eBay ... no items listed for primetimeproshop; maybe they realized that people are on to them and pulled their BS stuff. ...

I reported the shill bidding to ebay...low and behold within a couple of hours all those auctions were gone.

Imagine that..ebay followed through on something.
