I never bought anything through bowlingball.com, so I really can't give feedback for them.  When I've specified specific pin distances/top weight from bowlerx.com, there haven't been any issues.

I have had great success...

I always ask for 2-3 oz top, 3-4" pins...

I pretty much get that every time...they won't let you down..If anything I'll get something like 3.07 oz, 3-3.5 "...When I'd rather have 2.×× oz top weight, and 4 " in pin...

Buy with confidence...they know how to please..

I buy from them regularly. If they can. It meet your request, they will contact you and let you know. Great customer service.

They have a 1/2" and 1/2 oz tolerance on pin and top weight. So if you want a 2-3" pin, request a 2.5" and you'll get one within that range. If they don't have something that fits that range, they will let you know the closest available.

thanks for the info guys...i wasn't looking for anything special, 3-4 pin, 3-4 top weight or close to that...short pin balls just don't work as good for me for some reason

Never had a problem with them and Julie in customer service is fantastic to work with.
I've never been disappointed in what they sent me.

I have never special ordered from them, but never had any problems with the balls that I have purchased from them.  Btw, you will love that chosen path!  Best ball I have ever had. Just keep the surface fresh as it does like to shine up quick.
