Title: Buddies Pro Shop is..........
Post by: Cobalt Bomb on February 09, 2010, 08:33:28 AM: THE GREATEST! Ordered a ball Monday, it arrived in NJ on Tuesday, in less than 24 hours! Specs were what I asked for as well.
Thanks again to the guys at Buddies for another job well done!

If they had not packed and shipped it almost immediately, I would have had to wait until after the snow storm, probably a couple of days more.

I use to go to a local pro shop (20 miles away) and sometimes it took him a week to drill a ball he had in stock! so getting a ball shipped drilled or not the next day is great

Really? I'm just south of Fresno, and Buddies takes about 5 days to get here. A week at most. bowlingball.com takes about 2 weeks for me.

First I would like to thank everyone for their continued support. I do want to clear things up though in regards to shipments to California. I was able to check Ray's 3 orders over the last 2 years. The first order was placed on 6/20/08 (Friday @ 8:46 pm EST), all product shipped on 6/23/08 (Monday - sorry UPS doesn't pick up on weekends), and product was received 5 business days later.

The second order was placed on 7/05/09 (11:20 pm) and shipped on 7/06/09. And the third order was placed on 11/08/09 (7:52 pm) and shipped on 11/09/09. In these last two cases as with the first all products were received in 5 business days from day of shipment.

I just want to clear this up because two weeks is an extremely long time to wait for product, particularly if customer has not been notified that there is a problem with said order.

I know our guys pride themselves in shipping product ASAP and don't want customers in California to get scared off thinking that delivery is slow as stated here.

The order turn around is quick and I enjoy spending my money there (and the total shows that). As I said in another post, Buddies Pro Shop gets a big thumbs up and has won me as a customer as well as 2 of my buddies and between us we've bought 9 balls in the last 3-4 months, as well as bags, shoes, towels etc.

I'm one of the guys that had something shipped to my home in Southern California...it was a pair of shoes which were at a great price and I got them in a very fast mannor.

I dont remember the exact time frame but I do recall being very impressed with receiving them so quickly since you guys are on the other side of the world

Umm, have you ever made the commute? it'll damn near take you 24hrs if you get caught in traffic!!!!

Don't understand why Chris or anyone else from Buddies needs to justify their shipping methods. Either you patronize them or you don't. But don't complain or begrudge anyone who gives 'props' to them.
