Be careful when dealing with BowlersBargains.com

All I can suggest is if you place an order with them DON'T order online.  Call them and tell them EXACTLY what you want and make sure they have it before you give them your payment information.  I emailed them asking for a 14# reloaded and they said to call and they would take care of me.  I called and they said all they had left was light 15# so I settled for that.  I also asked for 2.5-3 inch pin.  When I got the ball it was almost 16# and had a 1.5-2 inch pin!  I really needed and new ball so I went ahead and kept it but emailed the owner, Ron Wood, telling him about the poor service I recieved.  He seemed very nice and apologized for the whole ting and said quote, "On your next order I will give you a very special deal."  So I figured okay what the heck maybe I'll buy a Deuce off of him if he's gonna give me a great deal.  I emailed him back a couple times and 2 weeks later he emails me back claiming he was in Europe for 10 days.  Okay no big deal.  He tells me the Deuce would perform well on oil and he had a 15lb 7oz one.  So I emailed him back saying I appreciate the response and wanted to know what the special deal was he was going to give me on it.  I get this as a reply...

15lb 7oz 99.95
plus shipping

The best part is my "very special deal" is the normal price listed on their site for the half weight storm balls!!!  So right now I am feeling "very special" to get such a deal.  I emailed him back with my feelings on the situation and kindly told him he wont be getting anymore business from me or my friends and I would be sure to post my experience on the forum I use.

So anyway if you order from them MAKE SURE they have exactly what you want before you pay because if you don't you will probably get something else.

I never buy balls off the internet for fear of the same reason. If I do buy sundries and the like it is usually (and to this point only) Bowlers Paradise. Have never had a problem and they have been very nice to me anytime I needed to talk to them. If I had to buy a ball off the internet it would be from them.
