Ordered an original X-Factor last month, and didn't receive it until today because they put down the wrong address!! Another thing disappointed me is that they even sent me the wrong ball!!! I received a triple x, not an original X-factor!!! The surface isn't as shiny as those I seen in the pro shop. The ball weights 15lbs and 10oz, top weight 2.9oz, pin placement 4.5-5. The only good thing is that it's cheap. I got it for $70 bucks plus $13 for shipping (maybe thats what I got for a cheap price??) I called them up and they said I could return it back, but I dont want anymore toubles so I decided to keep it. Very unsatisfied...

I built their website so I know these guys.

They are a legit company with multiple retail pro shops.  Ron Wood is the owner and he is a well known name in the bowling industry.  If something went wrong with your order... and mistakes do happen... there is no reason why they cannot make it right for you.

The surface of the ball should be factory finish. They don't have a way to request special ball specs, especially with half weights.

I'm sorry for your bad experience, but it sounds like they are trying to make things right. Maybe you should give them a chance to do so?

Sigh... maybe I was really unlucky. You mentioned that the spec. meets what you asked for, did you call them up and tell them exactly what you wanted (such as pin placement, top weight...etc)? Because they don't really show the spec on their site. All I see is the weight of the ball.
