Credit Where Due
« on: March 09, 2005, 05:38:26 AM »
Just feeling the need to give credit where credit's due.  Getting back in the game after a 10+ year layoff.  Needed to pick up a couple of things (nothing too big, new wrist support, towel, couple of seesaws).  I'd read great things about Buddies on this site, but being a left-coaster I decided I wanted to give Blockbuster a try.  Well, they had good prices and I got my order a couple of days after placing it.  Only one problem, one of the seesaws was missing.  Packing slip said they shipped two, but there was only one in the box.  I thought, "Oh no, this is gonna be a royal PITA".  I got all my paperwork together and called Blockbuster the next day (don't remember who I spoke to).  He was very helpful, looked up my order (didn't even ask for my order number, or anything other than my name), and said he'd take care of it.  Couple of days later I had my new seesaw.

That's good service.  While I'll probably always support my local pro shop, especially for balls (I don't buy them that frequently), I'll have no problem ordering from Blockbuster in the future.
