3 Circle Athletics Balls- How to fit these in my arsenal
« on: August 29, 2007, 09:31:30 AM »
Currently, I have a Mean Machine, Power Machine and Equation. After the winter league, I caught a sale on circle equipment and picked up a Full Tilt, Tilt and High Voltage. How can I best fit these 3 in my current arsenal, and which ball(s) could they replace?

My high voltage is about 10 boards stronger then i expected. it is Circles midline ball and it hooks. I figured it to be a ball for standing right and throwing up the outside, but it is a ball you can easily swing the lane with.

the tilt and full tilt are both the upper tear balls with a more aggressive coverstock, i've yet to drill either of mine. but i cant wait.

heres a vid of the HV with a total of five games on it, including the shots being thrown. This was on a fresh house shot over 3 games. I've since thrown it a total of 4 more games in league and it has been outstanding.

additional,

i dont think either or the three circle balls would hook as much as the machine.(such a dull ball)Maybe the Full Tilt sanded with 800 grit?

But compared to the equation and the power machine i think they would fit in well. A friend has the hard core partical and it does hook a ton, almost as much as his fury. I have a regular hard core, that i haven't drilled yet but it definitely looks mean.(same gritty look as the mean machine)

the full tilt should be the strongest of the 3 circle balls...im guessing

mean machine
full tilt
power machine
tilt
equation
high voltage

depending on layouts and surface changes...

Buck..all 3 should fit where strikealot placed them. I have all 3 drilled and have been having good sets with all. The Full Tilt outhooked my PM by 2-4 boards. My Tilt is the first version produced by Storm which came dull.(The C300 made balls were polished). Touched up with Track's ReAction Plus the Tilt is very angular. My High Voltage is a go to ball for me when the patterns break down...Good Luck on your recovery..9

Strikealot; nice video

Thanks Keith. Therapy is going well and hope to see Mike for a tuneup in November. The Tilt is the C300 version (polished), I believe.

Equipment Boards - Other forum.  I think Circle is on-topic here.
