Absolute Power any reviews

I looking at a Absolute Power.
for medium oil when time to put the
big hook balls away .
would it be to much.
I would drill it mild to.

The Absolute Power is a great ball.  The ball has more skid/flip than most of the LaneMaster equipment.  The Satisfaxion has similiar length, but more arcing backend motion.

I have one absolute power and another on the way. It still hooks a lot but its definately something you can use on a broken down pattern and drier shots. it'll always get down the lane before making its move. the Yeah Baby and absolute power have been my 1-2 balls i've used on almost all tournaments and leagues all season. its a great ball for medium to medium dry.

The Storm Absolute Power is the newest premier line release. The Absolute Power features the same sentinel core in the original Absolute but is now wrapped in R2S solid. The Absolute Power reminds me a lot of the CodeX and Alpha Crux which provided a lot of control with not a ton of traction. I can see myself throwing the Absolute Power after my Reality/GEM start to straighten out too quickly but balls like the Summit Peak/Phaze ll are still too quick.

Cover: R2S DEEP Solid Reactive Core: Sentinel RG: 2.48 RG. Diff.: 0.050 Finish: 4000-Grit Abralon Fragrance: Blueberry Orange Cake Storm’s new Absolute Power is a Solid Asymmetric Piece. This piece is good for Heavy Oil Patterns. PAP is 4 ½ over and 1 1/8 up. Rev Rate: ~400. Speed: 17.0 . Drilled this ball with the Pin Down, 5x4x5 using storm VLS.   I wanted this ball to be a different look than a pin up reality meaning that I was looking for a smoother transition down lane.  What I found was this ball was able to handle all of the oil in the middle of the lane and really start motoring.  Even with the smoother layout, the ball still had plenty of energy at the pins.  I would see this ball being really good for all styles and for me I would look at it being a first or second ball out of the bag, depending on what we are bowling on.

Review:
SPI really pushed this piece heavily on social media. We didn’t really match up well with the original Absolute. We felt it was a little too clean and never really had that back-end reaction we felt it needed with box surface to help the cleanliness of the ball shape. Taking that ball and adding a solid cover and knocking the finish down really helped give the Absolute Power the shape we were looking for in the original. We drilled this ball with our normal layout: tweener, 350-375 revs, 16.5mph, layout of choice is 4x4x2 (pin is above bridge). This ball is smooth on the fresh with that down and in motion, surprisingly smooth for an asymmetrical ball. It also blends the lane nicely in that game 2 and game 3 scneario where you need to move a little left. We can see this ball being one of those pieces that you stay with for several games making small adjustments before having to ball down or go to something slightly cleaner. For these reasons, this is a special piece. It is a ball for league bowlers, tournament players, and everyone in between. Make sure you grab an Absolute Power today!

This topic started out as a Lanemaster Absolute Power thread and ended up as a Storm Absolute Power thread.  Is this what is known as a hijacking?  :)
