Insite super natural
« on: January 22, 2007, 10:11:22 PM »
drilled up a new super natural: pin over fingers center of bridge. cg is is up 1/2 and 3/4 right of grip center. no weight hole ring finer 4.5 inches deep.
left oob cover to start.
all i can can say is that the first time i threw it it crossed 20 out to 8 and hit the 4-7.
next shot, took hand out of ball  same line hit 2-4
next shot more speed and even less hand hit flush 1-3 (for got to add that i had to wet sand cover to 2000 to get it there)
this ball is very strong oob.  if you need a good smooth ball in oil look no further. this ball will still be very versatile if you make the right coverstock changes to calm it down. if i have missed anything drop me a pm and i will get back with you. thanks

I'm surprised the OOB cover is 220 grit!  That's seems like it would bleed all it's energy going down the lane before it htis the pins.

Hi chitown,

On medium to lighter volumes of oil, the ball will burn up if you use the OOB surface, however the cover is VERY easy to change.  The ball OOB, is intended to be used on heavily oiled lanes.   But, as DR REVS stated above, you can change the surface and still get a monster reaction.  I had to bring the surface of mine up to 800 and put some polish on it to control the reaction.
