Desperado and Epicenter
« on: June 10, 2009, 09:43:58 AM »
I've been given the task of teasing the audience by the "Master Teaser"(Ryan)
the information at this time is limited, basically he's giving me enough rope to hang myself with. The pics you are seeing are the colors of the coming releases, the core numbers are medium rg with a medium rg diff, and a med inter. diff no numbers to be released at this time, as this could change before they actually go into production. The proposed release date is still unavailable hoping for mid July, due to plant production scheduling. As you know there are several other balls coming out being made in S.A. this will effect the timing of all releases, enouf said here are the pics!!!!!

Pre-orders will be taken as soon as I have a price structure from the "Master Teaser"

Drrev, yes the Desperado has the Insignia core in it!

sixpack - we have heard the same thing for years, and said the same ourselves, so now that we have an opportunity to release what we feel a lot of bowlers really need, we have jumped at it!

i think this core has alot of similarities of the core use in the Roto grip epic line, especially this Epic Quest.

Looks awesome, might as well tag this one on my list to buy, my Solaris is still my go to ball anytime.

Had promised the video that was on display during Bowl Expo and we've now uploaded it on our return. The video features the Solaris Requiem on a heavy tournament pattern, Epicenter on medium league pattern, and Desperado on a shorter/drier pattern. There are also a few shots at the end of the original Solaris, and a few other projects in the pipeline!

Great to meet all of those who called by our booth during Expo for a first hand look at all our releases. As Ryan as said we are working on perfecting the Desperado before production, to make sure it's THE ball that you're waiting for. With the interest we are doing our best to bring the scheduling of the Desperado forward and we'll have more details available over the coming weeks!

Every one of those balls (other than the Desperado) look like they hook a ton, but also look like really great pieces. Keep up the good work!

I was thinking the same thing on that orange ball going down the lane, it had ALOT of recovery. Must be something your testing, correct? What ever it was it looked good.

From memory, the last ball on that clip was the original solaris... but if its the one that gets back a lot, it was at the end of the night! haha

Yes the orange ball is one we have been testing.. the videos shows the roll of the balls well, but they are tested on a few different conditions so to be honest its hard to make a direct comparison between the balls.   For example, the reaction from the Epicenter will be about as strong as the yellow ball you seee tearing off the gutter!

the video quality on that video isnt great (was compressed alot for the expo display screen) so I will upload some bettershorter clips soon.

Cheers
Ryan

The Epicenter looks very good. Would like to see a side by side comparison with the Solaris. Is it supposed to be a step down from the Solaris?
