I am looking for a pearlized ball with a weak coverstock and a strong core.

You're lookin' for a Smokin' Inferno!  That ball gets down the lane easily...

The cover on the Smokin' was anything but weak.

lol, on a more serious note, first couple that pop into my head are the Ebonite Clash or either of the Hammer Vibes...both are around .045-ish on the differential, pretty significant/strong-ish cores. Both claim to have "weak" covers on them. Nowadays though, how "weak" that actually is is the topic of debate. JMO. Hope this helps.

That would be the G-Force Evolution, from Lane 1.  Check out the video on their site, as well as the reviews here.  I am getting on for the ligether to drier stuff.

You're correct, technically, however, is there really a ball out there that's got a weak cover combined with a strong core?  There aren't many.  With the high gloss polish the Smokin' would SKIIIIIIIIIIID, then finish very strong.

The next best thing are a big step down as far as the core goes: the balls like the Avalanche pearl, the Punisher, the Roto Grip Neptune, the Hammer Vibe...

Lots depends on how you'd like to play the lanes, but I'm assuming you'd like a ball that you can use as they start to transition, and everyone's moving inside, and you'd still like to play straighter?  Out of all the balls I've thrown the past 4 or 5 years, the Smokin' excelled on that condition, especially if you can soften the release and let the ball glide down the lane.

Bangers Pearl Hole Pounder is what you are looking for, it has enough juice to make the turn but it is very controlable Meduim to dry conditions

I don't have one but I think the T-Road Pearl would be a great fit.

Great suggestion!  I checked, and our shop still has about 10 of them left.  All of them are 15 lbs. and NIB.  Send me a message if you're interested.
