How are they already considered Keepers, has anyone thrown an Honor score with either ball, is there a Video showing this new manufacturing Gimmick of having the Ingravings under the cover carry multiple strikes on various lane patterns, so far I just see 1 ball that costs more than the other and are both made for Medium lanes, way to early to be considered Keeper's for other than collector's item's.

Honor scores are not needed to make a ball a keeper my friend. The amount of money you win with a ball is a true judge of its character.

Btw i fully trust Scott's judgement, if he says the ball is good then I know it is good. I find his findings are concise and never exaggerated when it comes to posting about a bowling ball.

Nobody throws the same or the same reaction but you gain trust from certain people off this baord.

Honestly there are staff players you can wipe your behind with there postings, most of the time they have vested interest in you buying a ball from them or there company.

the Solaris is being made by 900G, uses the same cover the Break Pearl does, S-70, has a Villain core with a Radar Lock tower top on the base. Realy sweet looking and rolling, hard or strong backend motion.

Mike,

I don't know much about the Solaris expect that 900Global makes them and you can ask tekneek as he knows more.

SX1 has the roll of the original Inferno...early revs but holds line well.  Player like you would like it especially on the left side with less carry down and a fresher back end.  SX1 does seem to be effected by carry down which you wouldn't see as much on the left side so I'd say wrongsiders would love it.  Medium ball.

TX1 is go longer ball with more back end than SX1.

I haven't see many use the new Track balls so I couldn't make a fair comparison.  Motiv equipment is quality made and will last a long time.

Mike, if you like pearlized equipment, the Break Pearl has always been a great pill in my mind (http://"http://www.my300club.com/news/").  If there's such a thing as a heavy rolling skid/snap ball, this is it.  It seems to have an amzing move to & through the pocket.  The Solaris has a lower differential and a similar, if not exact, coverstock.  Plus, it seems to have the same eye appeal that the Break Pearl did.  Not a bad combination.

USBC but not PBA, first production run does not dictate 100K registration fee for PBA, but approved for use in the European theatre.

So in a way its like a lego ball. Take something here, there and here and you have a new ball.  I saw the video on youtube, and the one shot looks pretty impressive. I would like to see more then one shot though...

Nor Cal Bowler,

Unfortunately this is how most but not all bowling balls are designed.
Most companies have weight block designs they used in the past and reuse them over again with different coverstocks.

Ok I guess i was misinterpreted. Let me put it more bluntly. Its like a "company", going to another established company and saying I want this core surrounded by this Coverstock, the company renaming the parts to make it seem like it was their own creation. Then the owner of small company mismanages the money and upsets alot of bowlers and said established company...

There are a few tried and true weightblocks out there.

So rather than putting alot of money into R&D they resurrect what's worked in the past.

And people are surprised why there's three-quarters of a million Accord/Camry sales per year.  It's because they had to endure the years where a K-Car was touted as the "rebirth of American engineering".

It's the American public's way of, "getting even".
