Actually, yes to my surprise. A few of the bigger pro shops in the denver metro area seem to be carrying some of these balls now.

The one guy that has got the new standard wants to trade it too me possibly and i have a new one getting punched this week already. I have already got a trade worked out for the used ball and will be getting something else for it, unless i love my new one and decide it is all that like the hype says. My buddy says it hooks too much for his game and even polished is a monster hooking wise but he said it is very touchy and would hardly see enough oil to use it much. I will post my thoughts later next week good or bad when i get mine this week.

I have a Yeah baby
I like my last night used it 2 games
2 clean games 201-237 couldn't carry
or catch a break either left a 10 pin
or 7 pin but shot 675 try again
next week also left a solid 8 and 9.

I have a Yeah Baby - it is sort of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde...
I (it) carry off hits and break up splits like no ball I've ever seen but
I leave more solid 8's, 9's and 10's on what look like good pocket hits to me like no ball I've ever seen either...

The pro shop I go to (Pro Image) is owned by Ken Yokobosky and Al Jones.  Ken is on the Training and Pro staff at Legends.  My son just picked up a Yeah Baby yesterday and will be using it this weekend.  I have been thinking about a New Standard but don't know if I see enough oil for this ball.  I have been seeing some show up on the racks lately.

picked up a yeah baby last tuesday at the insistence of my proshop.  love the way it has a very readable roll and  incredible hit.  Still need to learn the correct adjustments for it on the sport shop as the lane goes thru transition.  Have been over average with it all three sesions that I have used it on three different conditions.  Have gotten a ton of questions about it from everyone who watched it including bowlers that I don't know.

a guy in monday league has a yeah baby and another guy has a couple of the new standards drilled differently and they look OK to me. Nothing to make me run out and pay $200 bucks for one, but if I could find a used one at a decent price, sure I would love to try either one..

If they only made a ball that would carry that da_n 7 pin (and I am right handed!!)

If it is not Storm, Columbia, Ebonite (making a comeback), or Brunswick (also making a comeback) it is not used a whole lot here in South Dakota mainly Sioux Falls. Can't really say for the rest of the state. Sad to say many of the lower companies don't get a good chance up here.

In Raleigh NC .. in two different Centers I've seen 3 bowlers (total 6) using either the NEW STANDARD or the YEAH BABY .. both of the balls roll GREAT. From what I see the NS has a nice arc to the pocket consistently while the YB seems to have more BACK END. I wanted one of these when I first read about them .. because they were not PBA approved my DRILLER didn't want to get involved. I'll get one .. don't know when .. but I will!

Hey Next Level, I also live in Northern NJ and I have not seen Legends products at all.  I finally got connected with Pro Image Bowling in Rockaway NJ.  Ken Yabolonsky is the proprietor and also on staff for Legends.  Unfortunately it is almost an hour away from my home.  I currently bowl at Bowler City in Hackensack. The Pro Shop at Bowler City does not want anything to do with the smaller manufactures.

I was there last night and Rick and Dee carry the full line of Legends. I think Ken gave them a good deal for taking a few.

From what I have seen of my New Standard and an aquaintance's Yeah Baby, the primary advantage of these balls is their incredible hitting power. It is on a par or slightly above that of Brunswick's Activator that I have seen in the Inferno, the Ultimate Inferno and my own Intense.

Out of the box, both NS and YB seems suitable for most people for medium to heavy oil, unless you have some unusual drilling on them. The YB goes a little longer than the NS, but wil then cover 3-7 more boards, depending on oil and bowler's release.

One fascinating idiosyncracy of my NS has been when I polished it, very lightly, using Legends' own polish: I got a large number of feet of greater length. As per usual, with such a modified cover, you need to find a little dry for the ball to make the turn. Normally, out of the box, the NS does not need to find any dry - it will make the turn.

I have seen ZERO of these being used in Atlanta.....much less any being stocked in proshops here.  Just a geographic thing I guess.

Zero.....Ziltch.....Nada.... I picked up a AZO Tactics in the fire sale, and people are asking alot about it, but they have never even heard of AZO.... let alone Legends -- Lanemasters, the pro shop is not even very up on them, I took in the flyers and he hadn't heard of the Yeah Baby and New standard.   People try to buy the ball off me every week, for the way it rolls and the way it looks, it sure is a purdy ball, but that's all the action they have in my area, when I get some extra cash, who knows about that, I want to try more, I love the Tactics particle.

Since making my last entry .. I ordered and had the NS delivered.

Bowled one game in one of my league with not the BEST results. Took it with me on Thurs league (light/dry) and the conditions were not right but got a feel for the ball. It definitely is not a ball you can throw from outside .. it has to be inside/out. It has a tremendous hit when reaching the pins. Much better then any ball I've used to date including the AMF and LANE1 products. Prefer using an outside line .. but I'll adjust for this .. expecting BIG THINGS with the right condition!

For our area we have done a few and found the Yeah Baby a better fit for most all. The new standard is a strong ball and would be best served in a experienced hand. That is not saying don't buy one but at least know your game or have plenty of oil. This ball turns the corner very sharp for such a strong cover. YB is a bit more versatile but still is plenty ball for most. I am very entrigued by this line of balls and will look forward to new releases.

LOL, same here. Except no one around here has even heard of smaller companies. All they know is storm, ebonite, and brunswick. Im like "yea this is a visionary" and everyones like "oh....is it like a crappy little ball company or something? Never heard of it".

There are more than you think E-Strong.  I have been using their stuff for some time now.  Since I have started using them I have convinced three other friends to give them a try.  I have owned the Fatman, Littleboy, Drastic, and Answer.  I Soon will have the New Standard and Guaranteed (Christmas).  My friends tried the Ultima's (Pearl and Solid) and the Answer.  And one of them is purchasing the Guaranteed and another is considering the New Standard.  Madison Bowl pro shop is experimenting with them also, and has already drilled a few for customers.

I have yet to see one on the rack around my area. execpt for mine of course. I was looking to get a hexplosion but the driller is a staff guy and I can't help but try new balls. so I went against my all track grain and picked up a Big Kahuna.

I will put up a review once I get it broke in and the surface tweeked. all I can say right now is that the hitting power is worth the price and that alone separartes them from companies like enbonite and colombia, were there midline balls are actually better that there high end balls.

Once I get my head out of my rear end and bowl, I can see racking up some real big scores. my league house is known for corners and you seldom see a messanger. Until now! Once I actually start hitting the pocket look out!

Hell's Bells, it looks like Tommy can't give them away. I saw the Yeah Baby! there for $169 drilled!! Bizarre. (Although it may be related to the $25 discount directly from Legends, til Dec 31st.)

I am the only one in my area to throw a Legends ball, I have the Satisfaxion and love it.  I am hoping to get the Yeah Baby to go with it soon.  The satisfaxion is an awesome ball, it shreds the rack like no other
