Surprisingly, MGBowling.com and BowlingBallSales.com has them for about $25 cheaper per ball (that includes their $5 packing fee per order). I almost always buy any ball I want from Buddies so this does surprise me a lot.

Jeff,
As you probably noticed, Buddies is the only one of the 3 that allow you to pick Pin and TW, whereas the other 2 do not. I would order from the latter 2 if I wasn't "Picky" about Pins and TW's. But you know me! :)

Pat,
The choice of pin and top is not on the ball's web page. They allow you to specify them in the ordering process on a comments section. There are other web sites that do similar.I have gotten what I asked for from a couple of these. If I don't, I'd return any ball I ordered. I don't accept 1" or 5" pins when I asked for 2-3", especially not when paying full non-negotiable prices.
FYI MGBowling and BowlingBallSales are what I call "sister" sites. They appear identical in style and contents.
I am currently unsure of the reason for the price differential. I could speculate but see no reason to do that at this point in time. Lord Field has gotten some, let's call it, recent heightened public awareness.

I just today signed a pro shop contract with Lord Field I will be getting the Exodus Pearl to kick things off and see what its all about, with 7 more releases to come this year, the man in the US behind Lord Field is Tony Martin of Legends/Lanemasters prior to their demise.
Many of you know the passion I put in for some others, you will see that same passion here as well, my distrib in town stocks Lord Field, they are pba grass roots registered and the 4 current releases on the market (Exodus, Exodus Iron, Exodus Pearl, and the Pin Seeker) are USBC apporved, the next two balls Higgs Force (med/heavy load particle solid) and the Torment will be hitting the distribs in a matter of days (March 7th is the date I am hearing) Bags shirts and accessories to follow, a bit later this Spring. They have been a pressence on the Asian Tour and are bringing their goods to the US and putting some money behind it, of the videos Ive seen thus far, these balls appear to be pretty angular.
they will have both 2 piece construction (veneer, core) and 3 piece construction (veneer, filler. core) and both symetrical and assymetrical, I fully expect Lord Field to make a very big splash in the US.
I plan on doing some conparisons with the Exodus Pearl compared to other similar pearls on the market, look for some Vids down the road with some comparison shots thrown in
any questions, just ask, I'll do my best to answer and if I cant I will get an answer for you

Looks interesting. Also looks like most of the balls in their lineup have similar cores and construction to Lanemasters/Legends, which is in Stockton,CA, compared to Lord Field which is right up the road. And with Pat Patterson dipping into the koolaid, Tony Martin, yep gotta be a branch off from Lanemasters. Black Pearl was a favorite.

Not a branch of Lane Masters, as far as I know.
See more details in this thread on BowlingChat.net's forum:
Tony explains where the cores come from and where the balls comes from.
(FYI The balls do not come from Stockton, but Tony does come from that area.)

Punched my exodus pearl last night, only had about time for 10 frames, shot was a two day old house shot (burnt heads, carry down) the pearl was extremely clean up front there was a bank area at 10 board at 42 feet, as long as I was inside of or right on 10 the ball was flush, hit the 8-9 board it was skid city, hit the 5 and it was flush, not enough games on this ball yet to tell exactly what it will do but hearing i was om two day old pattern i was impressed with the length and the ability to still make the corner, retained energy very well and kept the pins very low, I will be on a fresh shot tonight so I will get a better read on what it does
ill post pics too but as a visual since I didnt use dual angles on this and went with what I wanted on drilling, its pin above bridge 2.25 inces with cg kicked out 15* right resulting in cg under ring, took the ring a little deeper to eliminate the side with the lower starting top weight the finger to thumb was legal as well

Hi Everyone!
Long time no talk. I've also been signed to Pro Shop Staff and want to thank Tony for giving our shop the opportunity to showcase their product. As I've done in the past with other products, I will be reviewing each Lord Field release and also producing ball reaction and comparison videos soon.
If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to send Chris (Triggerman) or Tony (Gladiator1) a message on the forums. I also have been informed that Pat Patterson has been signed to a contract, so don't hesitate to reach out to any one of us.
Thanks! Ram

I signed a Pro Shop Staff Contract today with Lord Field. I am looking forward to promoting the Lord Field Product line. Excited to be part of the staff. I thank Mr. Tony Martin for this opportunity. My distributor is ACE Mitchell. I selected the Exodus Iron to start things off and I will submit a review as soon as I receive it and drill it up.
