Lord Field "Exodus Iron" Ball Review
« on: April 03, 2012, 09:25:03 PM »

Yes I am a "Lord Field" staff member and I do work in a pro shop, so I have tried out many different balls and would say that this one stands out as the best symetrical balls I have thrown.

Drilled mine up using a dual angle layout: 65 X 3 1/4" X 45

PAP: (RH) 5 1/8 X 7/8 up. This put the pin slightly up and to the right of my ring finger.

Extra hole in the P4 position.

Left it in OOB finish

The ball reaction I got out of the "Exodus Iron" from "Lord Field" is very smooth roll through the heads and a strong move to the pocket. I will say that this is the most predictable ball I have ever thrown. That is a strong statement for someone who has thrown many different bowling balls in the last 59 years and I will stand by it.
What impresses me the most was how this ball reacted shot after shot and how it reacted to hand position changes. I have been able to play both in the oil or swing it out and let it roar back. The "Exodus Iron" does not check up early on me when the lanes start burn up, so I've been able to stick with it for a three game set.

Lord Field has some very exciting new equipment out there and I will review more as I have put more games on them.
