When does 900 Global get it's own forum?
« on: August 18, 2007, 02:33:49 AM »
Topic say it all. We are currently searching in 3 places to respond to the bowlers, AMF Forum, Other Forum and the Misc forum. Same topics are posted in each area, so many times they are getting answered more than once.

Having a forum for 900 Global benefits all.

Having a 900G forum benefits those who are interested in the company.

I would not have posted this request to the public forum. We are not the people to ask this question to. At our company, we have proper channels to go through. Since you did, you now are subject to opinions, If this board belonged to me, and it does not, I would make sure that all ball companies would either have to sell balls to us, so that we could re-sell them, or thay would have to pay for advertisement on this site, in order to have a Forum. I do not believe that you fall into either of these categories yet. I would guess that it costs money to keep this site giong. But, thats just me.

I couldn't agree more, but we do supply a service though, "knowledge". We answer questions or at least I do , regarding ball motion, friction, ball maintainence, drillings etc. The way we get paid for sharing that knowledge is ball sales. Sound like a symbiotic relationship.

Does having a major shoe line give us any more street credit?

I would bet more shoes have been sold than all the minor players in the ball mfg combined, seems like that should be enough to go over the top.

I would think shoes belong in the shoes catagory.  JMO.

Other than that yes I see Phil being a player in the bowling industry more so than many of the minor players.  Give 'em all a forum.....I say.

Don't add words dude. I didn't say DUMP anyone. 300 Global, Visionary, Insite deserve their own forum. Track is new too. That is my point.

The new Track and Columbia are now Ebonite designs. Not designed by Phil, Del, or the "real" Track/Columbia300. My intentions are not to bash Track, (hope they do well) but they are an example of a new entity, although owned by Ebonite. How many balls? 3 now for Track and 2 for Columbia. 900 Global has 2 on their website. 900 Global is old management under a new name. Track is new management under an old name. Get it?
