Title: Pyramid Bowling
Post by: Ptownbowler1986 on November 20, 2020, 12:23:44 AM
I've seen a few posts on here, but has anyone else got experience with Pyramid Bowling balls? I bought the urethane pathogen plague pearl, which has been amazing as one of the centers I bowl at used a lighter volume of oil. It's a pearl husband with an athletic core and I absolutely love it! Am looking at picking up the pathogen X2 next as it's a hybrid and something that I'm poorly missing in my arsenal. Let me know what you think of Pyramid!

I've had the pathogen, the force and blood moon, and liked all three. The price point is I believe their best feature. But they perform as good as any balls I've thrown. I would'nt hesitate to purchase again if I saw something I liked.

Like you, I was looking for a “strong” pearl urethane, and opted for the asymmetric Pathogen Plague Pearl. It has been a great performer, and the quality/workmanship seems good as well.

Beautiful ball.

Since then, I have gone back to an all Brunswick lineup, EXCEPT for this one. Since nobody else offers anything similar, this one stays in my bag for those tough shots with flying back ends. Ball hits and carries great on the right pattern.

Would have no problem using more of them. A few years ago, I used the ELITE/BOWLERS PARADISE stuff (also made in China) stuff for an entire season, and still averaged over 200 for the year, and I believe that Pyramid is just as good as anything else out there on today’s house conditions.

These balls have always tempted me but I always seem to pick up closeout deals on Brunswick or others for less.

it is so good to hear another great review about the same ball!! One house that I bowl at this ball is the first out of the bag! I am really excited to try something new from Pyramid! The new Force looks good but I really like the look of the pathogen x2
