900 Global is now producing their equipment and should get their own forum.  If you feel they should please sign name on reply to see if we can get a forum.  This forum could be used for all equipment including the 3G shoe label coming soon.

No, If they dont want to sell to online places, and the sponsers here are that then no. !!!

Why should they, IF ANY company takes that approach.

Like I said if ANY company takes this approach ( not selling to online shops/stores ) , let them start their "OWN" forum on their "OWN" web page, and see how much traffic they get !!!

Having a minimum price is one thing not, selling to certain ones is another.

Why should they, IF ANY company takes that approach.

pnj1967 your exactly right...

People come on the net to talk about balls, read reviews and get info about them. Most are looking to purchase something new. What happens when all these would-be customers can't buy the ball on the net ?

Most would look for something else...lol

I dont think that Gobal 900 understands that ALOT of proshop are just there to make a buck and rape the customer for as much money as possible. So when they (Gobal 900) sells only to proshops and the proshops want $200 + for a ball and people can't get anywhere cheaper....People look for other brands to buy.

Nothing wrong with having your product avalible on the net. Why they want to limit themselves from all the internet orders is beyond me. Look at all the sales they could make.

Why not use all avalible ways to sell your product ?

LOL

302efi, Global is and probably will end up being a very very good company, with Phil involved .

But with their approach like this I for one will not be getting any thing from a company that does this ( sales only to certain ones ).

Who knows maybe this is a start of some thing all together different then we are use to, with fewer ball manufactures.

900Global should get their own forum because their equipment are registered on the PBA approved list.

Sign me up.

Bottom line, we are all bowlers.  If you wnt to get into the marketing aspect of the business, then go open a pro shop, online ship, become a distributor, or make you own balls.  Stop discussing something you know nothing about.

As a BOWLER, I want to discuss ALL the equipment that is available to me, not just what the seller (store) can get or has in stock.

If the forum section is going to be tied into what they can sell or not sell, then they are doing us BOWLERS a injustice.

The fact that I'm in the proshop (part time) and see count-less numbers of internet balls come in to get drilled...Yeah I would'nt anything about that at all...lol

Injustice?...How so ?!

Incase you didnt notice, this is a PRIVATE OWNED forum which means they can do what they want.

Why advertise something they can't sell ?..Sounds like good business to me...

Why waste time and effort on helping them out, if they can't let you sell there gear. Damn, thats a win-win-win situation !

Agreed! Give 900 forum space. 900 seems to be a player with staying power (helped by the industry roots of their management, their own manufacturing plant, and knowledge from retaining the former Columbia employees.
