Radical Slant

I decided to give the Slant a try.  I put a 45 x 5 x 55 layout on it.  Here is a pic of the Slant  Pin is in the middle finger.

Normally, because of my lack of speed I can only use weaker type balls.  This ball really surprised me.  It was very rolly, picked up well in the midlane and had a nice, smooth arc into the pocket.  No skid/flip or big jump on the back.  Very controllable.  I used it for the first time tonight in league.  I bowl on a fresh shot, AMF synthetics on the USBC White II pattern.  I was flush in the pocket 34 out of 36 shots.  It was very easy to find the pocket with this ball.  The "problem" was that out of the 34 flush shots, I left about 12 solid 10 pins.  It could have been a great night if those corners fell .  I'll take a 680 but it could have easily been a 780.

I'll give it a few more tries before I decide to adjust the cover and/or look to put in a balance hole.

Once I get more games on it I will give an update but so far it seems to be a very predictable ball that is easy to get to the pocket.  Very nice Phil.
