Well, not floods...medium-heavy and longer patterns...

From what I have heard and seen, and in comparison to other balls on the market, I would say that the Break's OOB pattern coverage is just above (in terms of oil handling capability) Hammer's Black Widow, and just below Roto Grip's Epic Odyssey. The cover on the Break, though, is very versatile -- it can be adjusted! OOB is 4000 abralon, which means that one could easily take it to 1000...and have a hook monster...

This ball hooks more than both balls indicated. I had to put mine at "glow" because it hooks that much OOB. Once I adjusted the surface with the one that I drilled 5 by 5, I shot 735 with a 288 last night with it. This ball is strong but easy to read. Some people might find it hard to believe about this ball, but I haven't had any complaints from the people that I've sold to. Funny thing is that one of them is coming back today for another one and one for his son. Impress yourself, drill one up today!

Rev hit it right.  The cover is tunable and reactions may vary by drilling.  When we designed this ball our target market was the skid snap reaction that seems to be the fad right now.  Sure you could put a 3 3/8 in it and it will hook mid lane but why do that with this ball?  Buy something else designed for that.  Drill it to go long and snap, if your on a flood hit it with a pad, if your on a house shot throw polish on it.  This ball is not condition specific like others.  Between the  Break, Heist, and Creature you will see 3 very different yet needed reactions on the lane.  As for scores, KC Choosuka in Cameron NC recorded the first 900 Global honor score 2 weeks ago.  Shot 300 in league.  The race now turns to 800 and at a long shot, it would be nice to have a SANCTIONED 900 thrown with our equipment.    I suggested we put a bounty for the bowler that accomplishes that!

When I shot it, though, it was actually pretty funny. Everybody in the league, and the proprietor, was like, "what the $#@! ball is that?"

Darn my family's moving, and my going back to the University! The Break would fit great in my bag...save for the fact that there is no need for that kind of ball yet in Charlottesville, as far as I know (wood + short oil = let's leave nine pins with a white dot)...I'll still be picking one up, just a little later than some, maybe with the Creature, etc...(plus whatever else is to come in the future; I'll surely be interested).

Staunton is a bit far when you don't have a car (unless you know some way there that I don't)...lol...though the center is quite nice, and the shot far better than C-ville...

I just took it out of the box and it looks like it can handle
the medium-heavy to mediums fine. Looks like a dull Storm cover,
similar to my Roto Odyssey. I plan on drilling it soon. Looks
sweet !
