Got my Requiem drilled finally!!UPDATE MINI REVIEW
« on: April 22, 2009, 11:55:01 PM »
I drilled it just like my Solaris pearl which I love.

Solaris Pearl

Requiem

I got to throw this monster yesterday next to my fresh drilled stronger drilled pin down S-75. They hooked the exact same, which was way to much for my true medium oil, clean backend league shot. I to stand as far left as I could and had to send it to the 10 board with some speed to get it to come in high flush and not threw the nose. It had some heavy midlane with a very strong backend like people were talking about.

This ball is going to be alot of fun when ther is some oil out there, or my pba experience league this summer.

more to come after i get some games on it.

Got to throw it tonight on what was the heaviest shot of the year at my home house, which has notoriously slick lanes and backends that you don't see quick change of direction.

I threw my first ball in warm-ups, a code. Kept it in the oil and it literally slid all the way down the lane in to the 3-6, I was like wow, what a perfect night to try the Requiem out. Pulled it out threw the same shot and dead flush right in the pocket.

The ball gave me room that prior weeks with a little less oil than tonight my Magic at 2000 grit was having trouble getting into the pocket unless throwing a little slower than normal and strait up the 10 board. It carried really well, I did leave one 7-10 split in th middle on the 2nd game.

It had a very strong arc and good backend even for what I was on, sometimes I thought it wasn't going to make it back, it would turn over right before the pocket and still come up flush or just a little light

What I saw tonight was a ball the was very strong, strongest I have thrown to date. I wish I would have had my S-75 whihc I believe would have been a little stronger on this pattern because of the pin down and little bit stronger layout.

If you want an oil ball this is the one you definitly want to consider. Awesome job Seismic on your second release.

LH20...thanks for the review.  After my experience with the Solaris at 4k (thanks for the tip), the Requiem will be my next purchase.  Love my Solaris, just looking for a similar look in heavier oil.  Hopefully the Requiem fits the bill.

Mine are at 2 different surfaces as of rtight now. Solaris being at 4000 and Requiem being at 1000 abralon. My intentions are to bring the Requiem up to 4000 so it can be a really nice compliment to the original, and use my S-75 for the heavy stuff, Solaris for a little lighter conditions.

They do seem to have similar looks.

the Requiem with the same drill as the S-75, and same surface is a stronger ball, or so it looks, because mine with a weaker drill and higher pin position is nipping at the S-75's heals
