what are you looking for in a new product
« on: August 19, 2008, 03:13:03 AM »
Good morning all,

I have written anything in a while been busy with trade shows.

I was just curious if anyone had some input on what colors in balls they like or what performance everyone is looking for.(Other then saying one that strikes all the time HA HA.
Feel free to give what you like and do not like.

Thanks for the input.
Keep striking!
Jim

what i would like to see actually and very few companies seem to have it,  a weak ball thats sort of rolly, not a ball thats gonna skid a ton and flip, but something like the 900 creature, avalanche solid, u know a weak rollier type of ball.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to think that TRACK sucks. And its even funnier when im carrying with my TRACK ball and they're going flat ten with their BRUNSWICK ball.

Use that Ultra radical pearl cover with a asymmetrical core, that ball is pretty awesome the way it is but............

I have the first 3 in the series and might get the Pure at some point, I would like to see the Cell/Dimension cover used with the Tactics core.

What mrbowlingnut said, and a particle pearl with the tactics core, and a particle solid with the tactics core, by the way I absolutly love my Pro-Tactics shot 300, 278 back to back in practice with it last week, can't wait for fall league to start this week!

I agree with every thing you guys say,my thoughts were to actually to go in the direction of a solid asymetrical . Something that really curves.

What kind of colors you guys like bright  or conservative.

Thanks,
Jim

I personally like black and if swirls must be added I like silver, gold, copper, metal flake colors. I also like solid colors like green, red, blue.

I agree, i would like to see a solid ProTactics.  I'm not really sure of even what the difference is between the Pure and the Pro.  Seems like they would be too similar.  For me I like yellow bowling balls.  i don't think there are enough of them.

I wouldn't mind seeing what could come of a solid assym from you guys. But I have a spin off on it, NJ already mentioned it but could you tweak the Diff down and RG up on the Assym core as well as use a weak solid coverstock, to give us the ultimate control ball on the Lighter conditions that seem to faced more often than heavier stuff (reason I say this with confidence is look at the over under on the reviews on strong stuff versus the weak stuff).

And on edit, color wise I'd love to see black and a color mixed, black balls are sweet but black main color and another color with it would be sweet, gold, silver, blue, green, orange, anything, just something mixed with it to set it off a bit.

Make a T road Pearl but more blue? Lol seriously just make simple core for a midprice ball that actually hits like a high end ball. Something that will save energy through the fronts but still be controlable in the backends. So much of what's on the market today when it comes to high end is very strong asymetrical. It either rolls out in the front part of the lane or the stuff that doesn't have extremely strong cores reactes very violently to dry boards. Create a smooth rolling pearl that isn't skid flip. And shine the heck out of it outta the box.

Colors really dont matter to me much, I am excited to see the videos of the Pure Tactics in action though. How about super Assymetrical core? assuming the current core isn't super assym.

well id like to see a pearl particle cover on both cores. cuz they all seem to have strong reactive coverstocks. more hybrid coverstocks would be great too, like the pure already has a pearl/solid cover i think, but a mixt of particle pearl/solid. about the colors........well i dont see a lot of bowling balls that have yellow on it, like a pearl yellow with some blue or/and purple. something thats gonna be strange to see in the proshops but thats gonna get the attention of everyone, like WOAH what the heck is that ball??! lol
