what I don't understand about people, and the main reason why I don't  even like reading message boards anymore, is what does everyone have against billy oatman? Everytime I've come in contact or seen the guy at a tournament, he's been a class act and made time to talk to everyone who approached him when he wasn't bowling.

However, people are quick to lick WRW's sack whenever his name is in the headlines. WRW is a great (the greatest at the time) bowler. But he's done more crap in the public eye than a bowler like Billy Oatman. Billy O has never yelled at a group of kids to leave him alone at a bowling center when they were just watching him practice, billy oatman doesn't go to autograph sessions and fakes an interest in being there.

I have a lot of respect for WRW as a bowler, but my personal experiences with the guy from when I was in YABA and last year at the Queens tournament just make me have a different view of the guy.

No one has ever come on and said why they don't like Billy, they just wish him all the shortcomings in the world. And that doesn't make sense at all.

While there are some pros that I like better then others I am not going to wish any of them harm.

Making comments like this just shows ignorance.

I agree.. I am not a big fan of WRW, Oatman, Bohn and couple of other guys but I would never wish harm on any of them. Thats just plain stupidity..

I am just glad McCune didn't make the show. I have met him and he is a p**ck. I personally will be happy with whoever wins Sunday. Oatman is from Chi. so I have to root for him. I am a huge PDW fan. We need the crotch chop back. He just hasn't been himself on TV lately. WRW- If he wins i am happy for him, but if he doesn't I am happy for whoever beats him. Rhino- What else can be said about this kid? He is absolutely amazing and I would love to see  him get his first. Scroggy- I am a huge fan of his. I don't understand all the bashing he gets. He is a nice guy to boot and would love to see him win on Sun. All in all I will be watching and cheering for whoever happens to pull out the victory.

Yeah, McCune drives me up a tree, hate the guy.  It's gonna be a good show.  I'd REALLY like to see Rhino get his first one . .  I think he'll win his first match, but Walter's gonna be the tough one.  If he can make it past Walter, I can see him beating Scroggins, but unfortunately for Rhino, I can't see Walter losing.  I don't see Walter shooting 300, but that's what it's gonna take to beat him.

I never understand the venomous hate for people constantly displayed on this board.  Every single pro that I've met, has been nothing less than a perfect gentleman, polite, kind, and a pleasure to talk with.  Sure, they all have their bad moments and make occassional comment that they probably shouldn't have, but so does everyone who has ever lived.  Our society is becoming disgraceful.  Undeserved venonmous hate everywhere, combined with whimps who run and cry claiming that every little thing is offensive.

McCune is the only pro I would ever say that about. Everybody else I have ever met are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I just don't like Eugene's personality.
