Is it me or is belmonte was LESS dominant now that the particular is in effect with some time be make a case for this?
I don't dislike the guy, I rather do like him...however I feel like he's just not as good with this layout rule change?
What do you think?

Belmonte never had a thumbhole and a weight hole. He always just put a weight hole off the to side of where his thumb would be, out of the way of his track. I don't think the rule would have ever affected him.
Also, It's been in effect since last August, and he's probably going to win the Player of the Year award, so it's not like he's struggling.

The rule has been in effect since August of 14. This year he won the TOC and Masters if I recall. He didn't fare as well in the US Open last week due to the high volume preventing him from getting way left and out carrying everyone. He finished 32nd.
I'm not sure how those results makes him less Dominant based on the rule.

He has earned almost 200k this year :o

Got ya. Idk why I felt that way, I just feel he is kinda distant...idk
I'm crazy.

No it's not crazy. Of course he is still very successful, but he hasn't been steamrolling past people like he was in 2012 and 2013. I'm sure what it's about.
