2008 PBA Chameleon Championship
« on: November 12, 2008, 01:16:55 AM »
Man the scores are low.  My ex-coach from VT Ronnie Horton is averaging like 157 after 2 games.  Not hating though.  I think I averaged 120 on this pattern.  The Chameleon is 'nooot nice' (Borat voice).

So what's the deal with the scoring malfunction that made it a 5 man final?

Another fact:

Machuga's last title and only title was on the Chameleon against Bill O' Neil!!!!

You had to see it to understand how crazy the match was.  Machuga was shaking like crazy but still did it in the 10th!

Is anyone going to be able to get the results for the USC today? It would be nice to know if O'neil wins today during one of his two attempts since he does deserve it.

Hopefully no one posts the results.

This is Fluffy.  He is the Destroyer of Worlds.

Earlier in the week, Sean Rash bowled a bad game, but it was discovered that due to an error, he had bowled the incorrect opponent.

Even though he HAD bowled on the correct pair of lanes, the PBA decided to erase his score and have the match re-bowled against the proper opponent. Rash then proceeded to shoot a 257 game and knock Machuga from the finals by 2 pins.

The PBA then made what they are calling an "executive decision" to expand the TV finals to a five man rolloff instead of a four man rolloff.  Now, to compound things, Machugs beats the field in a tournament that he was almost eliminated from by a stupid scoring error.

Fixed, and agreed.

Edit: Gotta love the woman spraying the ball everywhere, missing 10 pins and winning. Good finale for the show.

LOL!  Yeah they need to eliminate that part of the show.  The show was a 10 after Machuga won.  Then it dropped to a 3 after watching the women LOL!

I really didn't think Chameleon was that bad when I have bowled on it I have always averaged 190s-210s on it relativly easily.

Where do you play on the lane?  I always suck on it.  Ball slides too much for me and if it does hook, it will leave splits.

I saw the same thing. It looked like the Cell played outside gave him a better look. Don't know why he switched.
