The way it looks that since EBI was bought by Brunswick that the pros men and women so of speak jump the ship to go else where.

A lot of this was also timing. This happened mid-season, in which there were always going to be mid-season staff changes. Some of these came about because of it, some were already in the works before it. Stef Johnson wrote an open letter saying that her decision was coming before this. Not sure on Verity's or Zavy's, but a lot of this just happen to come down to timing, and had nothing to do with the EBI acquisition, while some came after the fact, in which we'll never really know.

Did Tommy Jones officially go to Brunswick?  I remember him throwing the Hero and Melee Jab SE on the Bowlero show.

True on Stef Johnson. She was leaving EBI regardless of the buyout, she and EBI didn't see eye to eye on things.

Shannon O'Keefe [currently Hammer staff] posted on her Facebook page that after the Brunswick acquisition, EBI staffers were allowed to throw all seven brands if they wanted.  She was getting a whole bunch of Brunswick and DV8 gear drilled up.

I am wondering if the staffers who are saying they went from EBI to Brunswick are simply reflecting the reassignment of their current contract from EBI to Brunswick as a result of the acquisition.

Brunswick did a release saying they moved Dom and Kyle to Brunswick staff, as they want to use them for strategic marketing of the Brunswick brand. Brunswick is still sifting details out, but they did retain the EBI staff members that had contracts and wanted to stay.

Which makes me wonder more about the amateur contracts. I mean, it's all but guaranteed that Sannon, Tommy, Dom, and Kyle are staying, along with O'Neill and Wolfe. only one not real sure on is Daugherty, though I'm pretty sure he'll stay.

But what about those lower than the pros? Low is already gone. Not sure on Beasley, though both Mitch and Ingellimar are pros/international. Barta?

Michael Haugen is not with Storm anymore. He mentioned on his FB fan page that he threw a Radical Conspiracy to win the Arizona State Masters over the weekend. Guessing he's a free agent again.

He is a free agent again. I bowled on the same pair as him at a tournament last week, he mainly threw a V2 Vortex, Purple Hammer, and Conspiracy Pearl. Won the AZ Masters with a Conspiracy Solid.

Also a great guy to talk with

Mykel Holliman has joined Motiv, which was announced on their Facebook page about 3 hours ago.  He had been on the Track staff and is the reigning PBA Rookie of the Year.

Apparently there's some new info on the Ciminelli, Page, Marion venture but I don't pay for 11th frame so can't see the update

The only big shock is that Rash got denied by Storm because Belmo said he'd jet if they signed him. Bill would have had a heart attack if Jason left. Him ending up at 900 Global is only because everyone else said no.

Other than that, Motiv picked up a heck of a lot of staffers.

I am a little shocked that Sherman did not end up with Storm.  I would have thought with his close friendship with Brad that he would have tried to get Sherman on with Storm.

Sherman, now Brunswick, and O'Neill staying put. Which cans one of the big rumors that I've heard. And it makes since with O'Neill. He's not a "ball happy" guy. He believes that he can outbowl anyone with anything.

Motiv announced another signing today.  Jean Perez joins Motiv after being with EBI.

I want to say that both he and TJ just signed multi-year contract extensions, so it would be hard to believe that they'd be going anywhere.

Outside of that, all's quiet on the Andrew Anderson front as well, unless there's something someone is holding on to that we don't know about...

Pictures were posted of a Verge and Counter Attack Solid being drilled for him, so seems to be staying put at the moment

Yep, where’s that clown that was acting like it was breaking news that Sean Rash is a twat?

Kyle actually likes Brunswick stuff from his days at lindenwood, one of the few that made that stuff look decent.

When we finally sit down and have a beer, I'll share some real fun stories. :)
