Going To the US Open
« on: February 16, 2007, 09:25:13 AM »
Hey all for those who have been to a PBA event live which is the best day to go during the week or is it worth the money to go to the live event. If you go to one day during the week do you get to interact with any of the bowlers before or after like signing autographs. Which overall is a better experience i was thinking the week day just to see more bowlers and more games and its alot cheaper

Go during qualifying and match play. These are the days you see BOWLING.

For the TV finals, you generally see more on TV, because 49,000 people get better seats than the general public. One time my friend and I were there at 6 AM on a freezing February morning to watch a 2 PM show/finals and by the time we were seated, we were lucky to be able to see any bowling at all. Every family member of every PBA member, every member of the families of every employee of the center and every member of the PBA administrative corporation and every MEMBER of their family got better seats than we did. Noless every family member of every sponsor and their executives!!! We were lucky to be in the same building. It sucked royally.

lol....I know Brenton.  Ive bowled on the pattern before.  I know that shotmaking is key and spare shooting.  I'm really looking forward to it no matter how I finish.
