Any thoughts to the new 2008 H&R Block Tournament of Champions Roster?
I think putting the great legends (Roth, Husted, Cook, Petraglia, Dickenson, Schlegel (!!)) is AWESOME!

2008 H&R Block Tournament of Champions Roster
With his win in the 2007 Motor City Classic, Walter Ray Williams Jr. is back at the top of the new 52-bowler Tournament of Champions roster. The 52 bowlers include the 37 most recent Denny’s PBA Tour champions (with priority on the list going to exempt bowlers) and past Tournament of Champions winners up to 52 bowlers total. Since that total does not add up to 52, the list has been filled by PBA Hall of Famers based on most recent Denny’s PBA Tour win. Kurt Pilon is now on the bubble, replacing Amleto Monacelli who did not accept his invitation.

Dave Soutar won on 11/9/82. He's being invited based on a tourney he won 25 years ago!

Why is Voss under these guys when he won in 2006?

After perusing this list, I'm surprised they didn't invite Carmen Salvino or some other legend of the past.

P.S. I'm sad.  No Don Genalo or Matts Karlsson

What's wrong with how Ricky Revs throws it?

Is your list maxed out?  I thought Mike Miller won a title somewhere along the line or did he decline?  Wanted to see his no thumb ball on TV again, LoL.   A couple guys in league throw it like that.  Very inconsistantly I might add.

Miller last win was at least 10 years ago.

They fill the list out with past TOC champions that is why some of the old timers are listed.

On edit. Mike Miller (Don Carter PBA Classic - 1/30/99)

If Pedersen makes the show everyone in the audience should be required to have their mouth duct-taped. AND - the 8-pin should be pulled from the rack. After all, fair is fair.

On weeks that I don't see the results before the show I pray that through some miracle he has made the show just so I don't have to go through the douche chills of hearing "I'm gonna take him some butter for that sweet roll".

I'll take some "coffee" w/that sweet roll too.  I like Randy.  What do you want, some antiseptic sounding brainiac that needs to be prodded by the announcer?  We have that in Chicago w/Hawk Harrelson & D.J.  Doesn't make for good TV.  Randy has a personallity & not everyone I guess will like that.
