Commercials

I am tired of watching bowling every week and seeing the same commercials over and over again. I was just seeing if everyone thought the same.

You know what I find the funniest? Whenever they have the Cambridge Credit Classic, they always show the two guys who own/run/represent Cambridge Credit Counseling. Those guys look like they belong on the set of the Sopranos. Kind of like Vinnie & Vito, the guys who come around to bust your head every time your 80% interest rate loan payment is a few days late. If they came to counsel me about my credit, I would run like hell!

Just get Tivo to record it and start watching 30 minutes after it starts.  You can just fast forward through all of them that way.

My REPLAY skips the commercials and I skip what Dave and Randy say. So no commercials and no annoying comments. Then record them on DVD with out them. It is just like a man I use to know when he watched baseball with the volume off. He knew what baseball was all about and did not need to hear or be told what was happening in the baseball field.

What ever happened to the Ovalten "man" who stalked children at the local bowling alley?

I second what Alaska Bill said about sponsors- the PBA is getting them aboard more and more each season- sure, it's not GM or any other monster corporation, but they are SPONSORS, which what the tour needed after Brunswick determined they could not keep the tour on life support forever (remember the gold pins and the Big B signs on late 90s telecasts??)
As for the commercials, the same ones over and over get old(Banquet I'm sure makes other products besides chicken patties(last year) and the Bobby Labonte/Joe Gibbs chicken strips- they advertise on my wife's soap opera(Days)such things as their "Homemade Bakes" and such.)
Odor Eaters doesn't make much else to advertise besides foot powder- and I distinctly remember the Baby Ruth guy being AWOL from Sunday's telecast(they had a different commercial)
