Did I see this correctly?  NO lefties in the top 24?

As far as the title match....Barnes vs. Duke

Two of the most versatile bowlers out there.  I don't think Shafer or Fagan will get there simply because Fagan has to go through the entire stepladder and Shafer seems to always get someone who no matter what he shoots, seems to get bad luck.  I don't think PDW simply because the past few times he made it to tv, he has bowled like it was his first time on tv.  Plus, I think he may put too much pressure on himself to win his fathers tournament.

I would like to see Fagan get his first singles title. He has a shot if he can get past the first game and get the lanes to open up. He really struggled last night the first couple of games, but as soon as he got to get inside he bowled much better.

I'd like to see Fagan or Shafer win, Fagan is due for his first singles title and Shafer is just too damn good to go this long without a title.

Steven, I think you did see that correctly.  What I also DO NOT see is a single post by us lefties complaining about the shot being unfair.

Why does everyone bash Shafer so much? One of the nicest, most entertaining guy on tour to talk to, I hope he runs the field over.

It's because he throws the ball like garbage and wins and people don't like that.  He'll probably win this tournament, because he's that good.

Go PDW though!

This is an awesome show! Finally have 5 bowlers on a show as it should be! No women or senior series.

I can't think anything better then Pete Weber winning this tournament. It's named after his late father and has been struggling last two seasons for the most part. Seems to be on his way off the tour at his rate and bowling this fantastic and making a show proves he is not done yet. He also beat Walter Ray Williams in match play. Took a 270 to do it and still barley beat him. Seems like Walter always bowls his best against him. I think he made this show at this tournament last year or the year before that but didn't do well. I hope he just goes out and forgets about the nerves, the money and the title and just bowls like I know he has in the past. Last time he was a 1 seed he got destroyed by Tommy Jones. Can't remember what tournament that was. Perhaps at the 2 seed and NO Walter on the show he has a chance. I think he could beat Shafer which he has done in the past. Barnes and Fagan may be tougher depending what Barnes shows up.

I think he wins his first match whoever he faces. I don't like his chances against Norm Duke because he rarely makes much mistakes on tv, especially the last 2-3 years where Norm has been invisible on tv it seems. Weber will have his hands full if he wins his first match. I can't wait for this show!

The only other tournament I'd love to see him win is the Masters because he has never won it. If he would to win that, it would be a grand slam.

Light oil patterns and Storm has an edge over Brunswick, in the vaguest general terms.

Wish Bill O'Neill had made the cut. The man has a win coming in the near future.

Duke vs Fagan would be interesting. But if Fagan won all 3 of his matches, he might be burnt out by the time Duke was stroking up the 5 board.

I've got to say that Pete Weber looks more "human" with every show, but he seems to have lost some of that edge when he was less "human" and more like a teenage snotnose in a school yard on every show. He has only shown glimmers of his former aggressiveness and "killer instinct". 5-8 years ago he would roll off 7 - 9 strikes in a row in 3 consecutive games on TV to just destroy his opponents. I almost wish he would show some of that spirit again. On TV he has been less than the ... spirit both he and his father used to have.

I have the good fortune of being at the event at Fountain tomorrow morning, and am very excited about it.  Although Shafer isn't one of my favorties, I would really be ok with just about any of them winning it, even though PDW has always been a pleasure to watch, and this one would be extra special for him.  Looking forward to a great morning tomorrow, and hope everyone enjoys it.

I'm ready to see Barnes wiff a single pin again.. It would of been great if Mike Scroggins would of made the show, so we could of had both wiffers on the show..

Who i'd love to see win: Fagan. Great guy, great game, young, and has a big career ahead of him. Who will win, ofcourse Norm or PDW depending on who reaches PDW in Semi Final.. If it's PDW in finals vs. Norm, definatly will be a great match but the win going to Weber as it is his dad's tournament..

I wouldn't mind seeing any of the guys win the title.  Shafer gets a bad rap he's a really nice guy I just think because he's not much of a "tv personality" he's portrayed in a bad light, just like PA.

I'd love to see Pete win for his dad but I'm pulling for Fagan the most.  He threw the ball great in match play and Reyes needed a double to shut him out for the show and reyes left a baby split on the second shot in the tenth so hopefully he can use his good fortune tomorrow
