F bomb...

Sound to anyone else like after Rash picked up the wash out he dropped it right into mic?  I rewound it on DVR and I'm pretty sure it was what it was.

At least he didn't drop the C bomb...I know if I had his reaction (God knows I've had the results) it probably would have came out of my mouth.

Man everyone is getting their panties up in a bunch over cuss words.  What is the world coming to? LOL.  You know it is going to hell when I gotta quote Barry Bonds LOL:

"All of you lied. All of you have said something wrong. All of you have dirt. When your closet's clean, then come clean somebody else's, but clean your's first"

What a guy!

Anyways, cussing like video games and movies are overrated and only act as scapegoats as to what is wrong with this country.  Look at other countries like Japan.  They got 10x sicker movies, crazy violent games, and disgusting tv shows, but you don't see 1/10th the problems there that we have here.  I grew up in DC and still came out on top.  Cussing is one of the least of the problems we need to worry about.  We should instead worry how to get our school systems on par with rest of the world because right now it is a complete joke.

Rash should not have dropped the f-bomb on TV. Even if it doesn't bother you, it bothers someone else. It's a black mark to the sportsmanship involved in the game, and it doesn't make the sponsors all to happy either. If there weren't rules against it and people just did it willy-nilly, the sponsorships from a lot of companies would be dropped.

This is a Professional Bowlers' Association...and it that is the key phrase: PROFESSIONAL BOWLERS. This is a professional event, and should be treated professionally. Rash should be fined. 25% is a huge amount, and a bit ridiculous.

I will say this: the f-bombing and various other curse words have been used more frequently as of late, and it's getting stupid. They need to stop that now, before it gets any more out of hand.

All that being said: Do I use it? Heck Yes. But I try not to use it when I'm being watched close enough for it to reach anyone else's ears...especially underaged kids.

Do we all use it? Mostly. Should we? That's up to personal preference. Is it necessary? No. Do the rules need to apply to everyone? Yes sports professionals included.

No swearing means no swearing.

You people need to get over yourself. If all you have to worry about is someone saying the F word life would be great, but unfortunately we have bigger problems in this country.

If anything get mad at the PBA for not at least running the show on a minute delay to censor any foul language, it's not incredibly difficult to accomplish. Sure, he shouldn't have said the word, but I'm not gonna say he should be docked 1/4 of his pay because of a reaction to his bowling that should've been censored anyway.

It shouldn't be censored in my opinion it shouldn't have to be censored. Those guys have all week to swear. They can bowl a few matches on TV without swearing.

Plus, I believe being mic'd up is optional? If this is the case, just say no to the mic.

Just because something shouldn't happen doesn't mean you shouldn't do all you can to make sure it doesn't happen.

Edit: That's a lot of negatives right there.

Which is why they have rules and fines against it. That is a pre-emptive measure to try and keep bowlers from swearing. If you censor, you give them more reason to not watch their mouths.

I mean, you should still fine them, but just use the censor to ensure that the viewing audience doesn't hear the words. I wouldn't go to the extreme of 1/4 of the bowler's check, but whatever the default fine is, do that.

I'm more or less just saying it's dumb the word got through to the audience, not that they shouldn't be penalized for violating the rules.

Ah, then yes, I agree. I don't have a problem with censoring. Although, I do have a problem with *beep*. That's a little obvious. Just silence it. Lose sound for half a second, then come back like there was a sound glitch.

It doesn't need to be announced that someone swore.

Thank you.  My 4-year old watches the show with me, and I don't want him picking up that language from a PROFESSIONAL BOWLER.  He'll pick it up soon enough, but Sundays at 1:00 (Eastern) should be a time I shouldn't have to worry about that.

with professionals dropping f-bombs it drives away sponsors and viewers, in turn means even less of a payout on tour. we are all humans and mistakes happen but the pros know they are on television and should know better. i like the delay someone brought up and a fine i am sure he will get.

What Sean rash said was inappropriate. If you do not agree with that then by all means bring back kikking the ball returns, pounding the telescore and flipping the bird at single pins left up! These are suppose to be proffessionals, not just in bowling performance but in edicate , setting an example to all bowlers out of RESPECT for the SPORT...
