Grand Rapids pro-am

This is the third year I have bowled in the pro-am at Spectrum Lanes. Each year has been a good experience. What other sport gives their fans a chance to rub shoulders with their stars like bowling does? This year I had the pleasure of bowling with the following; Tim Criss, Ronnie Russell, Brian Kretzer, Patrick Healey Jr, and Jeff Carter. All of them were very friendly and all posed for a picture with my son. My son has Down Syndrome, and although he talks little, he was so excited to be around these guys he really came out of his shell. All the bowlers treated him so nicely it was really great to see. The PBA really has something special in what it does here.

Any other good experiences in pro-ams?
