Incredibly high scores
« on: February 23, 2006, 06:23:06 AM »
Just as the subject says, the scores after the 1st block of qualifying are rediculous.  Right now the top 4 are everaging 250+ for those 7 games.  I havent checked but what shot is out there this week?  I know these are the best bowlers in the world but are they not supposed to be able to average 250 on a house shot?  Doesnt make sense for a tour shot.  Tommy Jones is in 44th averaging 219!  Maybe a 300 on tv this week perhaps?  We shall see.  I'm interested to see how the scores go the rest of the week

Average jumped 10 pins since the change to Dyno-Thane.  Why not use it?

Are the lanes easy this week? Perhaps, but lets look between the lines. After bowling on a very diffucult pattern last week, most, if not all of these guys are sharper than ever. Couple that with what im assuming to be the Cheetah pattern and you get high scores. Besides, the rim has to be in play with Dave Traber being that high in the standings after the first 7 games.

Chuck Norris doesn't bowl strikes, he just knocks down one pin and the other nine faint.

Didnt even pay any attention at traber being up there.  Definately beans outside if in good shape.  Good point on the hard pattern last week to the easier one this week.  You notice Liz Johnson up there?  commisioners exemption may have done her well.  I should have thought about her playing the outside as well.  oops. :-)
