She's an amazing bowler who always seems to be near the top of the PTQ list by the time everything shakes out.
I would like to know if there is anyone who's been near the top of the PTQ list as often as she has this year.
It's obvious she's got more game than most of the people out there, & she deserves an exemption IMHO.

I read an article on www.pba.com yesterday (couldn't find it today) that stated that Liz is currently leading the PTQ/Non-Exempt points list. If she continues to lead that list, she WILL earn an exemption.
And it would be well deserved!

Mumzie,
That's great news! I didn't realize that they gave an exemption for that.
Does anyone know where I can find the non-exempt points list?
I was able to find a listing of averages. She's in 32nd place with 217.

From the PBA Mmeber Rule Book
quote:
7.3.4 PBATQR Exemption. The high point earner from the PBA Tour point list who did not otherwise earn an exemption through other means shall be awarded a 1 year exemption.
Liz is currently 50th on the points list, which is high for the PTQ/non-exempt qualifiers

I'd love to see Liz on tour full time. I remember Randy Pederson saying to me and a friend at a regional that the only person on earth better than Norm Duke at playing straight is Liz Johnson. Powerful statement.
