more TEAM SHOOTOUT love...
« on: July 13, 2008, 11:36:16 AM »
Hey Group

Good grief, I have been watching this as it has been going along and I must say that it's really pretty neat to watch, I mean, Wow!! all of the great bowler's on the same stage, real sweet

Anyway, heres what I think of what I have seen so far:

1) Roth's Raiders <Captain Mark Roth>

Chris Barnes
Parker Bohn III
Rhino Page
Mike Wolfe
Patrick Allen
Tommy Jones

WOW!!!!!!! talk about a team being stacked, whew! theses dudes are good and then they have probably the best anchor man that I would want on a team...Tommy Jones.

2) Sean Rash, <AKA, diaper rash> just sick, just real freaking sick. This young man will be around for a long time as he's got loads of talent and is absolutely fearless.

3) Michael Fagan, <AKA, Gumby> ok, he is really impressing me. I know he probably doesn't really need that HUGE back swing but when the ball comes off his hand well it strikes with authority, very nice and powerful.

4) Jason Belmonte, well, quite frankly I can do without two-handed bowling but  thats me. Yes, I know hes a phenom from where he came from but I don't really care and its not against him as a person I'm just an old-skool type of guy
but I wish him well!

5) Pete Weber <AKA, PDW> well, what can I say about Petey, if you have been watching him this year and also in this particular event he has not been the same dominate player but maybe he will get his act together before the real season kicks off again, but he has struggled a lot, only time will tell!

Anyway, I thought I would post a couple of observations of this event so feel free to jump on in and share your thoughts.

i was most surprised how lost pete weber looks. while his personality is annoying to me you certainly cannot fault his immense talent. looking at him recently on t.v. he looks lost. my mom commented that he appears past his expiration date.
