yes and no it depends on who many balls you drill you save about 30 to 40 (if you buy on-line some times less) but you still have you due payments to stay a PBA member. On the flip side if you want your card go get it as a partial member, I would try to bowl more then I tournament a year just to show your skills and use the balls you will get at the discount.

It depends on what you are looking for.  Ball deals are very good with some companies, alright with others.  If you are a Storm guy, its definately not worth it.  I have my card, and even though you are supposed to have new releases available to you before the public, it never happens.  If I order a ball using my PBA card, I never wind up getting it until my pro shop has already had it for at least a week, or other people have been throwing it for a while.  Not to mention, they will tell you when a ball will ship, and then change the date, and not inform you.  Case in point, the Shift.  I ordered one as soon as the PBA announcement was made, and was told the ball would ship last week.  I called this week to check and was now told the ball will not be shipping until the last week in Feb, or 1st week of March.  And if you look on here, there are many reviews and opinions on the ball, so it is out there.  Just my 2 cents.
