Where are they playing 2007 TOC?
« on: March 31, 2007, 12:24:31 PM »
Anyone know where they are playing for this years TOC?  We played on the PBA Experience compliant shot and no one shot above 210 and freakin Reyes goes 289 - 299 - 269 his last three!!??

I know they are probably throwing granite up 13 or so to create some bounce, but how much can they mold the pattern with the amount of practice time available??

Someone I talked to says they are around 25 at 18 feet going out to 15-16 at the breakpoint.  Really tight lines, and no one is missing the pocket.

You have to remember, the biggest difference between league and pro bowlers is that pro bowlers have no grab in their releases.  When you have less than flawed mechanics and grabbiness at the bottom, it becomes really hard to consistantly hit the 2 inch area that you have to hit.  This is why no one shot over 210 on the condition in your league, but these guys can tear it up.

That's right NO GRAB:
That's why I've been shooting high scores on a pattern were very few others
are scoring good even shot 300 3/14. So the owner said he was going to change the shot. No 300 this week but and the first 9 third game shot 276.
Trying to teach the other good bowlers that. Hope they get it for they can score better and have more fun. Grab makes the ball roll early. So your ball
will hook early or go right by the break point. You need good timing for
this OPEN THAT HAND at the bottom.

The guys scoring at Bradley were all over.  Barney was in the deepest crossing 15-17 out to 12.  Every other righty was around 10-8 at the arrows playing to 5-8 at the breakpoint.  Wolfie and WRW were nutted outside of 5 and killing them.  PB3 and the lefties cold play where they wanted to outside of 10 with or without swing.  Once they got to the Sun, everyone played pretty much out.  Walter was at 5, Tony was at 8-10, Robert and Duke were between 10-8.  Barney and Wolfe were there also.  TJ was a little deeper than that but not much left of 12.  The proanvilane is definitely slicker than the HPL at Bradley...
