Was it their plan from the beginning to join the first seeding/elimination match in progress?  Makes sense if the previous show ran over but that wasn't the case.  Seemed like an odd way to start the show.  Not a huge deal, but a little awkward.

No masks for anyone?  More testing like the NBA and NFL, everyone vaccinated?  They didn't say anything at the begging of the telecast.

But, but, but Fauchi said we need TWO masks, even after receiving the vaccine.   ::)

For a moment, you had me thinking that you were referring to Chad Murphy making a show.

Yeah, it was weird that live coverage started in the 5th frame.  They probably started in progress because NASCAR was on afterwards and Heaven forbid that NASCAR loses any of their scheduled airtime to bowling!  Just another slap in the face to bowling.  "We will give you airtime on national, broadcast TV but you will NOT be allowed to run over your allotted time!"

The absence of masks was noticeable, especially after the players and KP have been wearing them recently on other telecasts.  Oh well, I suppose we will all be losing the masks eventually...unless everything we are being told (or not told) is a total lie and nobody has any idea...nah, that would never be the case :P

I also noticed that they pretty much only tracked the ball paths of the four Storm bowlers during the telecast. That was pretty odd also.

I only remember seeing one time that Daugherty threw his ball that they showed his path, breakpoint and ball speed.

Is the ball speed calculated off their hands or further down lane near the pins?

I think that's just Randy Peterson, who is a Storm fanboy.

Yeah, Randy Pedersen needs to tone it down a lot.  He is a Storm staffer, which is kind of a conflict of interest in my opinion.  It's one thing to promote the company you are affiliated with, but not when it clearly influences how you are calling matches.

Although at the rate we are going, it will not be long before it is called the Storm PBA Bowling Tour.

Interesting though that no Storm last week in Masters.  As for ball speed, pretty sure it is at the arrows.
