Gene Stus passes away at 74

Happened last week, but just now catching up on it. Gene was a great guy, and I believe his 300 was the first, if not the only televised one on the Senior tour.

RIP.

Bowling loses yet another wonderful person AND bowler.

Heartfelt sympathies to Gene's family and loved ones.

Agreed. If it weren't a Weber/Anthony/Roth/Dickinson that made for good matches on the Senior tour, it was Stus/Handegard. Always loved watching them bowl.

Not that the others aren't, but these truly are the great ones.
