One more thought about US Open...

With Pete winning what could have been the match best of all time, how awesome is it that Gary Thorne called the action!  I don't think it would have felt the same with Rob Stone.

Would have been even better.  What some of you don't want to admit or can't admit is the players built a rapport with Rob Stone.  Guess you forget the times the pros throw a fourth strike and acknowledge the "hambone" to Stone and Pedersen?  Weber himself did it along with a crotch chop just a few tourneys ago.  But you're absolutely right, the PBA telecasts don't need excitement and raw emotion...they're getting such good ratings just the way they are.

Don't believe in the Uzi, it just went off in my hand.  I, I believe in love.

Yes Rob Stone made the telecast. Just hit mute and he was a genius. It also works well with RP.
