Ryan Shafer's wife died?

Was watching the ESPN PBA League show today, they said Ryan Shafer's wife had unexpectedly passed. Does anyone know what happened?

I really hate this for Ryan. I've never met him but have corresponded with him via email before and he seemed to be a very nice man. My condolences to him and his family.

He was bowling at a tournament I was at, the cops came in and informed him his wife took her life. Very sad for sure
