The term cranker was supposed to be for a higher rev player that achieved his revs though "hackish" or bad mechanical technique. There's no way you should be able to call the guy in your league with the cup wrist, bent elbow, and chicken wing release with 500 rpms on it a cranker, then turn around on Sunday and call Chris Barnes a "cranker" when he's hooking the ball. The motion of the swing and release is not the same.
These days the terms used should be low, medium, and high rev player. Rhino is on the medium-high side revrate wise, with a really great armswing and timing. He can vary his ball speed very well with the tempo of his feet and swing, something us mere mortals cannot change in an instant and average 260 on a flatter pattern.
Give these guys credit because of their physical poweress and their ability to see the lanes and read transitions in a way that we cannot, not because they can exploit an area of the lanes to average an insane number. That's the real distinguishing quality between pro and amatuer.
Rhino is.....That Good.
