Yikes that's a big number.  John Nolen shot 280 in game 8 to help his cause.

In first with Chameleon (made the show), Shark (made the final), and Earl Anthony (won the title) it would appear Wes is in good shape.  Let's go Wes.

This is a post of his on the PBA site:

"OK. I know I don't need to reply to this but it's kind of funny that most of you guys should be reporters like the ones that quoted me. Yes I said that about golf and tennis and I'm not going to deny it at all, I don't really agree with taking technology away from any sport.

The part that they failed to quote me on was I didn't have a problem with the tournament I just didn't like the placement of the tournament. They placed it between the Masters and the Marathon tournament, 2 very long and grueling tournaments. This is the main reason why I didn't bowl.

I told everyone that but as reporters they choose what they want to write and I want to thank them for all the publicity I've gotten out of this. I think it's great and that's what I'm going to take from all of this.

Now, I wish they would have done an USC tournament and Plastic Ball tourneys, and whatever else they decide to come up with, at the end of the season when guys are not bowling for their livelihoods and families.

Wes"

Wes would have saved alot of debate had he posted that here! Go figure his statement was carved up like a turkey to make a story for espn. Must have been a slow day on the A-Rod front.
