The Week Of The Soft Tosser
« on: February 20, 2004, 11:40:13 PM »
It's the week of the slow throwers. Angelo,Waliczek,Jaros and Muchuga are all still alive. None of these guys really generate any excitement as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully Walter Ray will make yet another show.

Of course I have seen Walter Ray, his ability to put the ball in the pocket on any condition, from any line, is amazing. But I always wait to see if Walter Ray is going to carry (remember the 10 pin last week against Robert Smith). As soon as Jaros let those shots go yesterday I had no doubt that they were dead flush.  He had the right ball, the right line and just flat executed the shots.  What I was trying to say is that I hadn't seen execution like that since Earl.  Even with the crankers you always wonder if they will carry, the two shots that Robert Smith overpowered the pins with last week: first was wide and came ripping back, second was in, revved up and crushed.  Again with Jaros' shots as soon as he let them go, it was done.
