Title: Two Handed bowlers
Post by: milorafferty on July 08, 2020, 10:15:29 AM
Where are the two handed bowlers among the top ladies?

I know a couple of local two hand lady bowlers and they do pretty well. With the physical differences between the men and ladies, it seems that a two handed lady could begin to close the gap.

Interesting thoughts, As the Father of two two handers it seems to start at about Age 6.

They can't strike with a 6 pound ball, so they sneak one of your balls off the rack or they grab a 12 or 13 pounder off the rack.  All of a sudden the sam hits strike or don't bounce off the pins leaving a split.

Then I buy them a 10 pound ball, teach them the skip step and away they go!  One a 239 average one summer and the sweetest power swing ever.  The other beating me 2 out of 3 when picking up the ball.

Whey more girls are not doing it yet I don't know.

As Mo Pinel I understood said, "some day they'll say why's that old guy bowling with only one hand?"

Everyday I see more and more of them.  Many of them not very good, but eventually.  The young girls I don't know why there arent many of them gravitating to it yet!  Good to hear that some are.

Sincerely,

Luckylefty

If you want more 2 handed bowlers; then you need more coaches willing and able to teach it.
