I know he is a Storm staffer. What multi-colored ball was he using?
That wasn’t a Phaze, was it? Probably a Crux Prime.
-
All of the Storm staffers were rolling the Crux Prime
-
I think he used an Idol Pearl on the left lane.
-
Super Sonic It's not out yet
-
He used an Idol Pearl on the left lane and Son!Q on the right lane.

Both of you need new televisions.

Date of the original post referenced the celebrity show which he used the Crux Prime, the replies yesterday/today reference the Indianapolis Open where he used an Idol Pearl and SonIQ.

Thanks guys for the clarification. I spaced out the date of original post. Both balls gave Norm a great look and something for us strokers to ponder over. Especially the Idol Pearl.
-
The ball that Norm used was called The Belmo Slayer

Good one Rileybowler :)
I personally enjoyed this show more than I have in a while. Good to see Norm taking out the 2 Handers LOL
-
Idol pearl left lane, Son!Q right lane...
-
Almost every shot on the left lane I was yelling for his ball to shim lol. #righttoleft

There's no reason Norm Duke should be able to carry more hits than Belmonte who physically throws it with almost twice the revrate and 2-3 more RPMs on it.
This victory was all due to modern day equipment giving low rev guys the same carry as everyone else and traditionalists will never admit it.
/trolling :)
Yay Norm.

Belmo should have shelled down, moved more right, and cut down the axis rotation in my opinion. He was carrying questionable hits with the ball coming in behind the head pin because of his rev rate, but it was a dice roll that didn't pan out.

Seen arguments made that if reactives were never invented Dell Ballard Jr. might be considered the greatest of all time by now (though PDW was winning lots with urethane too). That guy could hook urethane like no one else. Pretty obvious both Norm and WRW really benefited from reactives. Still the mind wins as many titles as the tech so credit where its due.

What would have made it better is if he took him down with a Timeless or a Drive!!!

He never throws his "own" balls. That should say something about them. I actually think this Signature line will get pulled.

I wonder how much he would just throw the OG Hy-Road if not for commercial considerations. I am guessing a whole lot. Nothing new to bowling though as remember people saying Earl would have won more than 43 titles if Ebonite made as good balls as they had money back then (heard even let him use C300 dot balls during qualifying).

I agree technology has made a difference, but Sunday Norm flat out bowled Belmo. In my opinion Norm is a better all around bowler than Belmo. Revs are not always the answer. Belmo had a lot of over/under. I also liked the 2 different patterns. Adjustment is key ...

Doesn't get much more versatile than Norm for sure.

The new question should be what ball will he be using this week as the #1 seed. Go Duke!
