Do PBA guys keep track of 300/800's?
« on: November 11, 2008, 01:40:43 PM »
You ask any league bowler, they can tell you how many honor scores they have, whether it be 1 or 30.

Now, it seems like most of the guys on tour throw at least a couple honor scores per year, so do they keep count?  Or is it just another score to them

It IS next year!

At some point it does become just another score.

The 700 series was big for me at first. I counted probably my first 10ish...idk how many I have now...

When you hold the record for career PBA 300 games, there's almost no point in asking how many you've got outside the PBA.  300 on a PBA shot isn't anything to sneeze at, no matter how jaded you are with house scoring conditions.

I have 8 PBA 300's.  I remember those because they are fewer, and harder to get.  I have 30+? USBC 300's.  Don't remember those so much, cuz many times, I wasn't the only one to shoot one that night.  Don't mean quite as much.  The Tour players probably don't worry about it, it's just part of their job.  They remember the important ones though, key matches to make the show, to win a Regional....
