Norm Duke is a free agent, so he uses whatever he likes that week.  He threw Dyno-Thane last year in the overtime thriller against Traber.

Norm is an Awesome bowler. He can use any typoe of equipment and do great.
Hope to see him use other brand companies in the future. The best part though is that he can win with a company that is not seen on tv such as AMF.

I can't supply a TECHNICAL answer ..but .. when you've had success and feel confident with something .. IT'S TOUGH TO CHANGE .. that doesn't imply he's THICK HEADED .. it merely states he seems to be doing OK .. why should he consider something else? That's the feeling I would have!

Chewy, Duke can do it all, from playing the twig, to hooking the whole lane.  When he makes the show, he tends to play the outside line, but he's not a one-dimensional player like, say, Dave Traber.

Duke may be getting good promo money from AMF, I really don't know.  I don't think the brand matters that much to him, as far as performance goes.  AMF Triumph, D/T Vendetta, when you're that good, what's the diff?

Norm was an AMF staffer for many years so he still uses their equipment on a regular basis. However last year he won with Dynothane, used Track when he shot 300, used Track on another occasion and this year has won with AMF and had a good showing today with his injury. Norm plays the extreme outside because he is that good and versatile, but can get in and play deep if the shot calls for it.

I do believe Norm is a staffer for AMF for the current PBA season. Therefore, he will throw only AMF products.

norm duke, like walter ray williams, jr., and brian voss, is not on anyones staff. he was with amf but they let him go.
