Title: Would this be a good idea for the PBA
Post by: Jzero on September 19, 2006, 03:03:54 PM
Try to get the replays of tournaments shown at the time the USBC women challenge is happening at right now on mondays.  I think it would grab a good bit of people  who channel surf during the commercials of monday night football.  Also, it is something interesting to watch if the football game gets  boring.

I think he means after the Women's Challenge is over.  The PBA will be starting up shortly afterwards.  I think it's a great idea.

So far I am not that impressed by it at all, I think it will end up with the pros bowling one another for championship.

The PBA doesnt control their time slot, ESPN does. They tell us when we're going to be on. The only reason we are up against the NFL is they dont have any other programming that can pull at least a .8 rating against football. On one hand thats good, but just think what our ratings could be like unopposed !

I know, but he's talking about replaying the telecast.  It can still be on Sunday like it is now, they could just run it on, say, ESPN2 on Monday nights.  Just a little more exposure, and it'd have to do better than the national spelling bee.
